And then there’s Bentley who came to me at a time when I was most vulnerable. He was too, as we adopted him through Scottish Dalmatian Welfare. He is a bundle of joy and has come a long way from the days he used to bark at any dog that dared to be a few metres away. I am looking to train him to work with dementia patients and others in old folks homes. It’s a way off yet as he is just getting comfortable with other dogs but he has the kindest heart and loves humans. See the progress with his first visit at Harpers Hounds when he was very unsure of things and then a few weeks ago....where he was just greeting everyone with such excitement!
