Creative Writing

My mission is to help others find that creative spirit within themselves. Quite simply if you can solve a problem, you can write. I have written intermittently from an early age, when time allowed, with a demanding career, utilising my creative mind more in the design of creative workshops.

In 2020 I completed my Hons Degree in Creative Writing (and asked myself what am I waiting for?) and started the next chapter in my life(excuse the pun!) I absolutely love it... I can only describe it as making my heart sing. Discovering new words, new works, new writing ...what is there not to like?

Recently I’ve produced an anthology of work, showcasing the work of my writing classes sponsored by the Inverclyde Shed, helped organise a Words Festival, have had work published and started sharing our work through performance.

There’s a lot planned for 2025 and beyond including more writing classes, one day workshops, anthologies and another Words Festival but this time a full weeks event.
